License Agreement

PWS Academy is an online education platform that offers computer science courses for higher education. We aim to build high-quality courses and bring them to more students than ever before. To that end, our courses are subject to the following simple license agreement.

First, our courses are — and will remain — free of charge for any student learning on their own, without the supervision of a teacher or mentor, outside of a school or corporate context.

We know that many students don't have access to affordable higher education in their area, or don't have the privilege to study full-time. By making our courses free of charge for those who need it the most, we hope to improve diversity and inclusion in our field of study.

Second, we welcome partnerships with schools and corporations interested in adopting our courses. The funding we receive from these partnerships, together with donations from our backers, supports the sustained development of our curriculum and keeps our courses ad-free.

Finally, we do not allow modification or redistribution of our work in any way, except as part of a partnership agreement. We are happy to help you with any work required to better align our courses with your needs.
